Lauren Alcantara is an Australian artist working on Ngunnawal country and Ngambri country in Sutton, New South Wales. Lauren’s practice spans painting, drawing, and printmaking, with a focus on everyday forms, surfaces and colour. Her work is process-led and driven by curiosity, embracing repetition, texture, and imperfection.
The Curious Bunch is a collection of bold, playful works exploring familiar forms through colour, texture and repetition. The exhibition celebrates curiosity and the unexpected; allowing shapes, marks, and imperfections to develop their own character. Each work is part observation, part experimentation and an invitation to look a little closer.
Lauren is pleased to be supporting the Canberra Blind Society (CBS) with 50% of profits from The Curious Bunch exhibition sales to be donated to CBS.
