Jo Layt operates Quilluxe Creations, a studio devoted to paper quilling – the art of rolling, shaping thin paper strips into intricate designs that play with line, shadow and dimension. With over a decade of experience, Jo hand-builds every piece, transforming simple paper into detailed sculptural work from delicate florals to abstract forms.  Her exhibition, Paper in Focus, brings to life the flexibility and wonder of this ancient art proving paper can bend, bloom and build worlds beyond the flat page.

Quilluxe Creations was showcased at the inaugural Canberra Arts Fair in 2025 and will return for the 2026 exhibition in October. Quilluxe Creations is also exhibiting through Dirty Janes Canberra’s Living Artist Exhibition and can be found from time to time at Canberra’s Old Bus Depot Markets.  A range of Jo’s quilled greeting cards is also stocked at GreenGold Nursery in Gold Creek.
