Ludmilla Braguina: Your Dreams Are Watching You

  • The Front Gallery & Cafe 84 Wattle Street Lyneham, ACT, 2602 Australia (map)

In this collection, dreams are not fleeting illusions but living presences — silent observers of our journey through memory, time, and transformation.

Each painting becomes a mirror of the subconscious, where colour, texture, and light reveal what watches us from within. These works explore the architecture of remembrance — the places where imagination leaves its trace, and where the unseen world gently looks back.

Ludmilla is an emerging Canberra-based artist specialising in the creation of interior textile acrylic paintings for homes, oDices and public spaces. She is an active member of the Artists Society of Canberra (ASOC), Canberra Art Workshop, Canberra Contemporary Art and Eurasian Art Union (EAU).

Born in Chișinău, she travelled the World as a dancer introducing the colourful culture of Moldova to people from all walks of life. Then, after living in Vienna for almost ten years, she made Australia here home in 1996.

After successful completion of several courses at the School of Interior Artists and at the International School of Modern Creative Art, Ludmilla concentrated on the creation of colourful canvases using the mixed media techniques of textile acrylic and liquid acrylic painting. The techniques she uses in creative process are complex multistep procedures requiring time, patience and, most importantly, joyful mood and creative excitement, so that the final art object will be filled with colourful positive energy.

Creative painting process brings Ludmilla a great deal of joy. Therefore, her inner intention is to spread the energy of colourful mystical positivity through the environment where the paintings will be presented.
