The Front Gallery is in Lyneham in Canberra's inner north and is an independent, artist run venue hosting art exhibitions, music, poetry and comedy events. The Front is a popular café and music venue that attracts a diverse and educated demographic.
The Front hosts gigs 3 – 5 nights a week. It’s an intimate, small and cozy space. We like to let the performers exercise their own discretion or preference when it comes to the layout or logistics of their evening, but gladly help you in these respects and oblige in any way we can. There is no charge for the gig space. Contact us to discuss possible dates and please include the details requested in the Information Sheet.
The Front Gallery hosts a dynamic artist-run gallery showcasing diverse contemporary exhibitions by emerging and established local and inter-state artists. The Front Gallery accepts proposals year-round, and is available to hire on a weekly basis. To enquire about holding an exhibition at The Front, or to submit a proposal, email Paul at firstname.lastname@example.org. Exhibitors are required to submit a one-page exhibition proposal, current CV and up to ten images of work to be exhibited, or representative work.
